Who we are

Nazzem is a WhatsApp CRM for small businesses. This policy explains what the Nazzem web app and the "Nazzem for WhatsApp" Chrome extension collect and how we use it.

What the app collects

When you create an account we store your name, email, and your business details. We store the customers you add (name, phone, notes, status) so you can manage them. That data belongs to your business.

What the Chrome extension collects

The extension is observational only. It reads the currently open chat's visible name or phone number ONLY when you click "Add to Nazzem". It does not read your message history, your contacts list, or anything automatically or in the background. The name, phone, and any note you type are sent to your Nazzem account.

Authentication

The extension stores an API key locally in your browser (chrome.storage) to talk to your Nazzem account. We only ever store a hashed version of that key on our servers.

How we use your data

Only to provide the Nazzem service — letting you save and manage your customers. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Storage and processors

Data is stored with Supabase (database/auth) and the app is hosted on Vercel. Invitation emails are sent via Resend. These processors handle data on our behalf.

Your rights

You can access or delete your data at any time from within the app, or by contacting us. Deleting your business removes its data.

Not affiliated with WhatsApp

Nazzem is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
